Healthcare in Western Africa is in a state of crisis. Many roads are impassable. There are no diagnostic services such as imaging or complex blood analysis. There is no radiology, chemotherapy, or complex surgery. To meet the needs of the village, PRHeSS has built a small hospital, the Henry Kormoi Community Hospital. It currently serves as an outpatient center but will soon admit inpatients, perform surgery, and provide a full range of maternity care.
