PRHeSS Feeds the Soul in Addition ...

For almost 3 years now this ministry has been working hard to restore human dignity in rural Sierra Leone. We have fought very hard against the contraction of preventable diseases and by providing the communities with clean drinking water and decent toilet facilities. We have provided school and medical supplies, hundreds of acres of cassava, a second staple food for the community, a hundred acres of rice and a newly established poultry project.

Knowing however that man cannot live by bread alone, PRHeSS/Operation Hope in Africa has established a new United Methodist congregation, “Hope United Methodist Church”. New we can feed the soul with the words of God in addition to feeding the flesh and blood with bread. We must win more souls for his kingdom.

Using the same building for further educating the community is the Hope U.M.C. School, a starter school meant to raise children in the right discipline. Photos show our young congregation and our pre-school children. Our local preacher is Mr. Moses M. Vandy, PRHeSS/Operation Hope Treasurer. We need qualified ministers and teachers for these two institutions along with any kind of support.
