Farming Project
In its tireless effort to feed the hungry, improve health, social and economic conditions in rural Africa, the Pan-African Rural Health & Social Services (PRHeSS) currently sponsors a community farming project in the Fallay Wujah section, Jong Chiefdom, in the Bonthe District of Rural Sierra Leone. PRHeSS continues to bring hope, dignity and good health to residents of this community by sponsoring their farming project for food through ‘OPERATION HOPE” and also by providing clean water for drinking and for other domestic uses.
PRHeSS is committed to promoting sustainable peace and harmony in rural communities by promoting large group activities for the common good of all participants, and by sponsoring local health and social initiatives for economic development.
Improving self-image and establishing individual and group responsibility for co-operative economic benefit for all has helped to considerably reduce domestic violence in this community to a level never witnessed before. Child and spousal abuse are at their all time lows. Educational empowerment of the youth is on a very rapid rise.
Equal daily wages and investment opportunities granted to both men and women in this community have opened yet a whole new window of freedom for the Fallay Wujah community women.
At this time we are also in need of tractors and other farming equipment.

PRHeSS needs to mechanize this farming process in order to serve a wider community and progressively defeat hunger. We need tractors and plows to make our farming more efficient and maximize the community benefit. COULD YOU DONATE TO THIS CAUSE? PLEASE HELP!
