Hope & Dignity for Rural Africa

The once sweet and peaceful rural Africa in her natural beauty that attracted the outside world is no longer the same. Rural Africa has lost her peacefulness and beauty to wars, famine and virulent disease processes among other perpetrators of modern times.

The aborted hopes and dreams of individuals and institutions have robbed the continent of human dignity, hope and pride. Human basic survival is threatened. Life expectancy is at its lowest ever, while poverty, infant mortality and maternal death rates are at their highest.

MOTHER AFRICA IS CRYING FOR HELP!!!

Her children are suffering tremendously.
Please join us to respond to Africa's cry.

WHAT DO WE DO?

The Pan-African Rural Health and Social Services NFP (PRHeSS) Established in July of 2007 but sprang into action in March of 2008, is committed to making
concerted effort to reduce life`s burden on rural Africans in many ways.
We are committed to reducing infectious disease processes by helping to provide
Clean drinking water,
Decent toilet facilities.
School and medical supplies,
Feeding the hungry and clothing the naked.
We are also engaging the youth in career oriented short duration trainings such as masonry, carpentry, brick building and baking and sewing among other vocations in our effort to discourage urban migration.
We provide school supplies, set up libraries for local schools.
We support orphanages with clothing and toys.
We also support short duration farming to combat hunger and diseases, two of the greatest enemies of rural Africa.

PRHeSS's DYNAMIC BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Dr. Sam Kormoi the founder of PRHeSS calls his board members, The Chosen Ones, giving glory to God for providing this overseas ministry with such dedicated group of individuals that have so much love to give mankind nationally and internationally.

This group of God loving individuals have constructed the road map to success for this ministry and so far this ministry has been pretty successful in reaching people and changing lives in commitment and service.

PRHeSS's CARES FOR THE LESS FORTUNATE

In addition to the free health screening in the Harvey community, PRHeSS entered into a relatively new partnership with the South Suburban community of Chicago. Members, supporters, volunteers and well wishers of this overseas ministry now collect winter coats, jackets and sweaters for the homeless, the abandoned and the battered. One of the 2010 winter coat drive beneficiaries was the South Suburban Family Shelter Inc. in Homewood, IL.

Many thanks and appreciation the executive director, Diane L. Bedrosian received 10 boxes of assorted winter coats and sweaters presented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Rev. Dr. Darius Thomas and Secretary General Mrs. Alyce White in December 2010.

Please join us in this yearly honorable effort to care for the least of these, in just another way to thank God for His abundant blessings in our lives.
